Samsung reportedly has discontinued plans to launch its Linux based Tizen mobile operating system in favour of an Android based project. That's according to Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin, who tweeted this week, "Tizen is almost dead." This comes amid speculation that Samsung has delayed the launch of the mobile operating system by two months as it apparently works to improve the quality of the apps available.
